This song was written to give music and verse to the words of Colossians 1:17, “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” It speaks to the human experience, each of us formed in the image of God’s love. It speaks of the variety of life and place in the creation, all singing the love of Christ. It further challenges us to consider the way in which Christ has come before, forgiving, reconciling and holding all the world together.
